Today was Claire's turn not to feel so great for the first time, apart from bus trips, on the trip with headache and a sick feeling- we reckon she suffered sun stroke with dehydration as Chennai is really hot and sunny.
It also happens to be the say of the Holi where the Indians throw paint at each other and you're warned to be careful because they in many instances throw industrial grade toxic paint at each other from which people end up suffering all sorts of complications including damage to eyes etc. And then of course wrecked clothes.
So we opted to stay in and instead watch some of the celebrations on telly.
However I did go down and sign up with the 99F gym and went for an hour long trot on the treadmill and half an hour on the cross trainer- sweating a lot as always and leading to concerns by one of the trainers to which I replied that this is normal for me, especially in a hot country even if there's an undersized aircon struggling in the ceiling:-)
Anyway after workout I returned back to the apartment in late afternoon and we sat down and watched movies etc and had our (really nice) ready meals from Spencer's.
We cheekily also opened that Rs.125,- sweets basket in the room and pretty much demolished all the chocolates, mints and crisps in it :-)
Nice with a day out away from tourist "obligations":-)
