OK, we got up late today and much to our disappointment we found that it's a bad idea to be arriving much after 9 for breakfast in the hotel on a weekend as there was hardly any buffet left and the staff was struggling to keep up with the onslaught of guests.
We spent the day relaxing, mostly in the hotel and by the pool for a few hours. It was good to relax away from the usual touristy obligations and have a bit of peace from Mumbai life.
We also got Claire a cheap mobile phone.
We had dinner in the form of Chicken Tikka rolls despite initial Delhi-belly concerns from a very popular food stall on Tullock Road not far from the hotel. We were not let down or otherwise impacted, well worth a try!!!
Notes:
- If you are concerned about Delhi-belly then you may be able to minimize the impact by asking for sauce only without onions, fresh herbs and Chutneys, so just the sauce really, which has been cooking for a while.
